Being a volunteer during " Segni d'infanzia"

The search for "willing volunteers" for the 5th edition of "Segni d'infanzia" festival has begun!
After the great success of 2009 edition of the festival, "Segni d'infanzia" is looking for persons coming from all over Italy and Europe who would like to contribute with their enthusiasm and passion to make the 2010 festival edition an unforgettable event.
There is no age limit to participate: young or not, you are welcome!!
For young people aged less than 18 years, we only need the written authorisation of their parents.

During the years, the festival has remarkably developed, as it has been for the engagement and the responsibility required to our precious co-operators. We assure you a doubtlessly engaging experience but intense and exciting, too.

Here below it is possible to find all the indications for anyone who would like to become a part of our staff.

Requested availability
The volunteers shall have the possibility of giving their availability during the festival's week (from 7th to 14th November) and for a variable period starting from the second half of September. Time availability shall be assured for a minimum period of time, agreed with the organisation (usually at least one day or an equivalent period of time is required).
Tasks
The possible tasks are the following: room usher, technician aid, runner, responsible of the place, assistant to the artist, person in charge of the distribution of promotional material, person in charge of the playroom, person in charge of info point, person in charge of the logistics, interpreter, photographer. All the volunteers shall be given a "pass" and have the possibility of freely accessing places and events during the festival. Participation modalities
If you are interested in living this experience, you can send your intention to participate starting from 1st May 2010 indicating: Name and Surname; Year of birth; Residence; Mobile phone n°; E-mail address; Preferred task (preferences shall be kept into consideration as long as the organisation needs will allow it); Availability: indicating with precision a period (before and/or during the festival), days and time.
The organisation will contact the concerned persons who will have sent their request to fix a meeting in order to know each other and define together time and modalities of participation. A second meeting will follow in October during which precise instructions will be given about the tasks of the volunteer.

Whoever is interested to give his/her contribution for the realisation of the festival but has no time or way to actively operate as volunteer, there is another possibility: opening his/her own house and host foreign artists and festival co-operators. In this case, it is enough to communicate this kind of availability, indicating the kind of accommodation that can be given, during which days, and for how many persons.
